Election Laws - Filing Campaign Fund-Raising Reports - Threshold Reporting Requirements

Synopsis:

Increasing from $300 to $1,000 the threshold reporting requirement applicable to a candidate and the treasurer of specified political committees with regard to the receipt of contributions and the making of expenditures in an election campaign; and establishing a $1,000 minimum dollar value threshold reporting requirement for contributions received and expenditures made by a candidate in an election campaign and the execution and filing of a specified affidavit relating thereto.
