Transportation - Farm Area Motor Vehicles - Exemptions

Synopsis:

Amending the definition of "farm area motor vehicle" by providing that a vehicle is a farm area motor vehicle if it is owned by a farmer and operated within a 10-mile radius of the farm; exempting a farm area motor vehicle from provisions requiring the identification of trucks, truck tractors, and buses that operate on the highways of the State; and amending a definition of "commercial motor vehicle" in order to exempt a farm area motor vehicle from the motor carrier tax.
