Synopsis:

Making provisions extending transfer and appointment opportunities for employees of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority consistent with federal law; repealing opportunities extended by the WMATA to employees of mass transit systems for transfer and appointment as employees of the Authority under certain circumstances; and extending benefits or rights granted under provisions of federal law for employees whose positions are adversely affected by the expenditure of federal funds.
