Commercial Law - Consumer Protection - Acceptance of Checks

Synopsis:

Requiring a merchant who offers or makes available consumer goods or services to post in a prominent place in the merchant's establishment the merchant's policy for the acceptance of a check or other draft as payment for consumer goods and services; and requiring the policy to include the number and type of forms of personal identification that are required to be presented with a check or other draft and the maximum amount of a check or other draft that the merchant accepts.
