Synopsis:

Requiring a court in Howard County to impose on a defendant convicted of a crime of domestic or family violence an additional cost of $250; requiring all money collected under the Act to be paid monthly to the Director of Finance of the County; and requiring the proceeds from the additional cost to be used in addition to specified funds to fund programs designed to reduce violence in Howard County.
