Prevailing Wage - Overtime

Synopsis:

Altering the requirements for overtime compensation for employees of contractors and subcontractors on public works projects to require overtime compensation for more than 40 hours of work per workweek instead of for more than 8 hours of work per day; and limiting the applicability of the Act so as not to be construed to affect collective bargaining agreements signed before October 1, 1996.
