Lead Poisoning Prevention - Lead Hazard Control Plan

Synopsis:

Authorizing the owner of an affected property to elect to comply with a lead risk assessment standard which includes a one-time lead risk assessment, visual inspection and essential maintenance practices every 2 years and in response to tenant complaints of defects in lieu of the full and modified risk reduction standards; altering registration requirements for an owner who elects the risk assessment standard; authorizing an owner who meets the risk assessment standard to make a qualified offer; etc.
