Property Tax Credit for Renovations to Commercial Buildings to Provide State-of-the-Art Communications and Utility Systems

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City and the governing body of a county or municipal corporation to grant, by law, a tax credit against the property tax imposed on a commercial building in an eligible area that is renovated to meet state-of-the-art communications and utility standards for accommodating advanced computer and telecommunications systems, subject to approval of the renovations by a registered communications distribution designer; specifying the amount of the credit; etc.
