Synopsis:

Authorizing a police officer to impound or order the impoundment of a motor vehicle; creating a lien to secure payment of reasonable charges incurred by the impoundment of a motor vehicle; and requiring a police officer impounding or ordering the impoundment of a motor vehicle to provide the driver or the registered owner of the motor vehicle a notice regarding the impoundment and the creation of a lien on the motor vehicle.
