Primary Source Verification Information and Procedures for Physicians and External Review of Quality for Health Maintenance Organizations

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to waive the requirement for an external review of the quality of the health services of a health maintenance organization by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene if the health maintenance organization has received a specified accreditation from a certain organization under certain circumstances; requiring the Secretary to adopt specified regulations related to a primary source verification information system; etc.
