Synopsis:

Prohibiting credit card issuers from increasing the credit limit for a credit card unless each cardholder who is liable for any debt from use of the credit card requests or consents to the increase in writing; providing that a violation of the Act is an unfair and deceptive trade practice under the Maryland Consumer Protection Act; etc.
