Synopsis:

Allowing parties to voluntarily submit to mediation of family disputes concerning divorce, alimony, custody, guardianship, visitation, and support of a child before a party has filed a petition for a proceeding regarding the dispute; allowing a court, after a party has filed a petition and on agreement by the parties, to include in its order a stipulation that the parties shall submit to mediation for any future disputes; authorizing the Court of Appeals to adopt rules to implement the Act; etc.
