Consumer Protection - Credit Card Holders Signature Protection

Synopsis:

Prohibiting, with specified exceptions, the use or disclosure of the signature of the holder of a credit card or other payment device; prohibiting the possession, with unlawful or fraudulent intent, of the signature of the holder of a credit card or other payment device; making a violation of the Act a felony subject to a fine not to exceed $1,000 or imprisonment not to exceed 15 years or both; authorizing the Attorney General to institute a civil action; etc.
