Entitled:
Homicide by Negligent Driving of a Motor Vehicle or Vessel

Synopsis:

Making it a misdemeanor for a person to cause the death of another as the result of the person's negligent driving, operation, or control of a motor vehicle or vessel; and imposing maximum penalties of a $500 fine or imprisonment for 180 days or both for this offense; and making the Act applicable only to persons convicted of offenses after the effective date of the Act.
