Crimes and Punishments - Cemetery Desecration - Penalties

Synopsis:

Increasing the maximum penalty for a person convicted of willfully committing specified destructive acts upon specified structures in a cemetery from a $2,000 fine or 3 years' imprisonment to a $5,000 fine or 5 years' imprisonment; and increasing the maximum penalty for a person convicted of willfully destroying, cutting, breaking, or removing specified natural objects or engaging in indecent or disorderly conduct in a cemetery from a $500 fine and 2 years' imprisonment to a $1,000 fine and 3 years' imprisonment.
