Employees' Retirement System - Reemployment of Retirees

Synopsis:

Requiring the Board of Trustees, at the option of retirees of the Employees' Retirement System who retired before July 1, 1994, to restore membership, stop payment of the retirement allowance, restore previous service credit, and on payment of specified amounts, give credit for additional service if the retiree is reemployed in a permanent position as a State employee; providing for a reduction in the reemployed retiree's annuity and pension reserves for amounts that are not reimbursed; etc.
