Altering the membership of the Board of Regents of the University of
Maryland System to include a faculty member; specifying the
qualifications, appointment, and term of the faculty member appointed
under the Act; granting a specified exemption to and clarifying a

ethics law; and making the appointment of a faculty member to the
Board of Regents subject to the advice and consent of the Senate of
Maryland.
