Handguns - Permits for Retired Law Enforcement Officers

Synopsis:

Establishing a category of handgun permits for retired law enforcement officers, as defined; establishing requirements for the issuance of and the scope, term, and renewal of a permit; allowing a permit holder to carry, wear, or transport a handgun at any time, except while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, without requiring a finding by the Secretary of the Department of State Police that the holder has a good and substantial reason to do so; etc.
