Public Information - Reasonable Fee Guarantee

Synopsis:

Specifying that the fee set by a unit of State or local government for reproducing a public record shall be not more than the actual cost of reproduction; superseding, under certain circumstances, other laws that set a fee for reproduction of public records; and repealing the mandatory fee of $1 per page of documents on file with the Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
