Baltimore City Charter Amendment - Binding Arbitration for Baltimore City Police

Synopsis:

Establishing a system of binding arbitration between the Mayor and the City Council of Baltimore City and representatives of the Baltimore City police force; establishing that a board of arbitration may be requested for such arbitrations if a written agreement concerning terms and conditions of employment by March 1 of any year has not been reached; delineating the scope of the Board of Arbitration; specifying that the cost of arbitration proceedings must be borne equally by the parties involved; etc.
