Campaign Finance Reform Act

Synopsis:

Reducing to $1,000 the maximum amount of contributions and transfers that may be made by individuals, corporations, and political committees to candidates or their committees under specified circumstances; prohibiting a candidate or candidate's committee from receiving from political action committees more than 20% of their aggregate contributions and transfers received from all entities; and establishing civil penalties for violations of this prohibition.
