Video Caption Access Act

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person, after October 1, 1997, from distributing, selling, or renting or attempting to distribute, sell, or rent in this State videos that have been given an official rating by the Motion Picture Association of America unless the videos are open- or closed-captioned for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals; providing a penalty for a violation of the Act; and defining "video".
