Women's Right to Know Act

Synopsis:

Requiring, except in the case of a medical emergency, a physician to obtain informed and voluntary consent from the woman upon whom an abortion is to be performed or induced; requiring certain information to be given to the woman; requiring written certification from the woman; providing certain penalties for a physician who fails to obtain informed and voluntary consent; and requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to publish and make available printed materials containing certain information.
