Baltimore City - Tourism Special Benefits District Authority

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to establish by ordinance a Tourism Special Benefits District Authority, which shall cease to exist 5 years after the date it is established unless provided otherwise by the General Assembly; requiring the Authority to promote the tourism and convention industries in the City; granting specified powers to and imposing specified limitations on the Authority; requiring voter approval for any ordinance adopted under the Act; terminating the Act; etc.
