Consumer Protection - Weight Loss Programs

Synopsis:

Making it an unfair or deceptive trade practice to guarantee the number of pounds that a person is expected to lose while participating in a weight loss program; allowing an individual to cancel a weight loss contract for any reason within 3 days after the day on which the individual enters the weight loss contract; requiring a weight loss program to provide notices to prospective clients; allowing an individual to cancel a weight loss contract at any time if the weight loss program makes a weight loss guarantee; etc.
