Consumer Protection - "Lemon Law" - Required Notice

Synopsis:

Requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to develop in consultation with the Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General's Office, a notice that describes consumers' rights under the Maryland Automotive Warranty Enforcement Act; requiring the MVA to make the notice available to new car dealers; specifying the manner in which the notice is to be written; requiring dealers to provide a copy of the notice to new car purchasers at a specified time; and requiring the MVA to adopt implementing regulations.
