Drugs - Evidence of Forgery

Synopsis:

Authorizing the introduction, as evidence of a forgery or alteration of a prescription for a prescription drug or controlled dangerous substance, a declaration made by a practitioner licensed to prescribe prescription drugs or controlled dangerous substances; requiring the State to provide at least 10 days' written notice to the defendant of its intention to rely on and introduce such evidence; requiring the presence of a specified witness upon written demand of the defendant; etc.
