Repossessed Vessels - Certificate of Title

Synopsis:

Repealing a requirement that a lienholder repossessing a vessel secure a new certificate of title; and authorizing the Department of Natural Resources to transfer on its records the ownership of a vessel that has been repossessed by a secured party if the secured party pays the fee required for transfer of a title and submits a specified certification to the Department; and providing for a delayed effective date.
