Health - Hotels - Cleaning Commonly Used Items

Synopsis:

Requiring hotels, motels, and other similar lodgings, after each rental of a room, to clean commonly used items in the room; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to make an annual inspection of a hotel to enforce the Act; providing for penalties of between $50 and $250 for violations of any provision of the Act or regulation adopted under the Act; requiring an owner of a hotel to pay the cost of an annual inspection; authorizing the Department to adopt regulations to enforce the Act; etc.
