Controlled Dangerous Substances - Marijuana - Penalties

Synopsis:

Making it a felony, punishable by up to a $50,000 fine, imprisonment for not more than 25 years, or both, to bring 45 kilograms or greater of marijuana into the State; and making it a separate felony offense, punishable by up to a $10,000 fine, imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both, to bring more than 5 kilograms but less than 45 kilograms of marijuana into the State.
