Synopsis:

Expanding the definition of "provide private detective services" to include nonuniformed personal protection; requiring the Secretary of the Department of State Police to stagger the terms of private detective licenses; altering the license term from 1 to 2 years; providing that license expiration dates are to be set by the Secretary; adjusting license renewal fees; requiring that a renewal application and specified statements be received at least 15 days before the license expiration date; etc.
