Synopsis:

Prohibiting insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations from requiring a woman first to obtain specified referral or prior approval before receiving routine gynecological care from an in-network obstetrician/gynecologist; requiring insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations to provide benefits for routine gynecological care whenever their policies or contracts cover individuals who reside and work in the State; etc.
