Truancy - Investigation and Reporting Requirements

Synopsis:

Requiring specified individuals to initiate certain investigations regarding truancy under specified circumstances; authorizing specified individuals to provide specified counseling and to notify the Department of Juvenile Justice that students have been habitually truant; and requiring school officials to provide to local education agencies information on habitually truant students.
