Education - Standardized Testing - Options

Synopsis:

Allowing the use of national standardized tests as the criterion for the minimum required reading level of children in the public schools; and allowing parents the option of choosing a national standardized test or the Maryland Criterion Referenced Test as the measure for evaluation of the academic achievement of their children and for the educational accountability of the public schools.
