Synopsis:

Authorizing a judge to issue a search warrant based on sworn testimony of the affiant communicated by telephone or other appropriate means if circumstances make it impracticable to require a written application or written affidavits; establishing specified procedures for applying for and issuing a search warrant under the Act; specifying that the finding of probable cause for a search warrant issued under the Act may be based on the same kind of evidence as is sufficient for a search warrant issued on written application; etc.
