Synopsis:

Creating the Office of Cemetery Oversight; providing for a Director of the Office, an advisory council, and a Cemetery Oversight Fund; authorizing and requiring the Director to adopt regulations and establish fees; requiring registration to operate a cemetery or to provide burial goods; providing specified exceptions; establishing registration, permit and renewal criteria; altering specified trust and escrow requirements for sellers of specified preneed goods and services; providing civil immunity to specified persons; etc.
