Animal Dissection - Student's Right of Refusal

Synopsis:

Establishing a student's right to refuse to participate in an activity that involves the dissection, vivisection, incubation, capture, or harming or destruction of an animal; establishing an exception for students enrolled in specified courses; requiring schools to notify students and parents or guardians of this right at least 3 weeks before the activity; prohibiting discrimination or retaliation against students who refuse to participate in the above named activities; and providing alternative activities.
