Synopsis:

Authorizing a county to impose an admissions and amusement tax on charges for add-on cable television services, not including basic service; imposing the sales and use tax on those cable television services; providing for the distribution of the proceeds from the taxes; requiring the proceeds to be used exclusively for specified purposes relating to advanced technology and education; establishing a Technology for Education Fund; etc.
