Plea Bargaining - Restrictions

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a State's Attorney from entering into a plea bargain agreement if the defendant is charged with specified crimes of violence or is charged with the use of a handgun in the commission of a felony or a crime of violence; defining a certain term; and providing for the construction of the Act.
