Synopsis:

Creating a State Debt not to exceed $100,000, with a matching fund requirement, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of the J. Millard Tawes Foundation, Inc. for the acquisition, repair, renovation, and reconstruction of the childhood home of the late Governor J. Millard Tawes, located in the city of Crisfield, to be used as the J. Millard Tawes Library; and requiring the grantee to convey an easement to the Maryland Historical Trust.
