Health Care Malpractice Claims - Attorneys' Fees

Synopsis:

Establishing a 120-day period after a health care provider files a response to a health care malpractice claim in which the provider may deliver to the claimant a statement accepting liability for the claim and specifying a certain amount that the health care provider is willing to pay; and prohibiting a health care provider from contesting liability if a claimant accepts a statement filed under the Act.
