Confidentiality and Disclosure of Genetic Information

Synopsis:

Making it unlawful to fail or refuse to hire, to discharge, or to discriminate against an individual due to the individual's genetic information or refusal to submit to a genetic test or to provide genetic test results; and prohibiting an insurer, nonprofit health service plan, or health maintenance organization from requesting or requiring a genetic test in regard to a life insurance policy or contract or annuity contract.
