Medicaid Program - Emergency Service Transporters - Reimbursement

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to reimburse a public emergency service transporter for the cost of transporting a Medicaid Program recipient to a health care facility if the Program recipient requires the use of life support instrumentation during transport to the facility; making the Act applicable even if the Program recipient is dead on arrival at a facility; authorizing the Department to adopt specific regulations; defining a term; etc.
