Firearms - Disarming a Law Enforcement Officer - Penalty

Synopsis:

Establishing a 10-year mandatory sentence for knowingly removing or attempting to remove a firearm from the possession of specified law enforcement personnel; establishing that a person sentenced under the Act is not eligible for parole; and establishing that a sentence imposed under the Act shall be served consecutive to a sentence for any offense based on an underlying act.
