Divorce - Educational Seminar on Effects on Children

Synopsis:

Authorizing a court to require that parties to specified divorce actions attend an educational seminar on the effects of divorce on their children prior to the granting of a divorce decree; authorizing the Court of Appeals of Maryland to adopt rules to implement the Act; providing that seminar services may be contracted with a public or private agency; clarifying that information obtained from a seminar is not admissible during the action for divorce; etc.
