Synopsis:

Establishing, in specified counties, that a chief deputy appointed by the Sheriff shall serve at the pleasure of the Sheriff; prohibiting, in specified counties, a Sheriff from refusing to reappoint a deputy sheriff without just cause; and generally relating to the employment status of chief deputies and deputy sheriffs in specified counties.
