Workforce Reduction Act - Laid Off Employees - Closure of Facility

Synopsis:

Allowing State employee members or former members of the Employees' Retirement System or the Employees' Pension System who were laid off as a result of a closure of a State facility to retire July 1, 1997; providing for the benefits on retirement under the Act; requiring the State to pay the entire cost of health insurance premiums for eligible State employees who were laid off as a result of a State facility closure; etc.
