Employment Opportunity and Enterprise Zone Tax Credits - Living Wage

Synopsis:

Establishing a living wage rate; requiring business entities that receive employment opportunity and enterprise zone tax credits for creating new or additional jobs to pay employees the living wage; exempting business entities in their first year of existence from the requirement to pay the living wage for their first year of existence; defining the living wage to be the wage necessary to meet the national poverty level for a family of four, including provision of health insurance, or 110% of the poverty level excluding health insurance.
