Inmates - Frivolous or Malicious Lawsuits - Penalties

Synopsis:

Requiring an inmate filing a civil action to pay filing fees and court costs; establishing procedures for payment of court costs by inmates with minimal income; allowing waiver of costs for indigent inmates; authorizing a court to dismiss an inmate's lawsuit for failure to pay court costs or if the suit is frivolous or malicious or if the inmate makes false statements to the court; and providing for the revocation of an inmate's accrued "good time" credits for filing a frivolous or malicious lawsuit or for making false statements to the court.
