Health Care Consumer Information and Education Act

Synopsis:

Requiring specified carriers to disclose in their enrollment sales materials, in a specified manner, information concerning their methodology for reimbursing physicians and for distributing each $100 received in premium dollars from enrollees for the preceding calendar year, for which data are available; requiring the Health Care Access and Cost Commission to develop a uniform definition in layman's terms of each reimbursement methodology required to be disclosed by carriers; and defining specified terms.
